The community is invited to enjoy performances by some up and coming musicians and speech artists on Sunday, April 14.

The 2024 Cariboo Festival is wrapping up after more than 70 participants took part in this year’s festival with two events at St. Andrew’s United Church at 1000 Huckvale Place.

At 2 p.m. on April 14, Spotlight on Performance will highlight some of the vocal/choral, piano and speech arts performers who stood out to adjudicators and the audience.

Those performers who achieved gold in the festival will then take the stage at 3:30 p.m. for the Honours Concert, featuring those achieving gold from each category.

To achieve gold, adjudicators had to score the performers with an 85 per cent or higher rating.

Come support the young musicians and performers in the community. A Cariboo Festival Society annual general meeting is to follow the performances.

Entry is by donation at the door and open to all.
