The Williams Lake Wrestling Club battled hard Saturday at this year’s zone championships, held in Quesnel, with an outstanding 11 out of 16 high school wrestlers moving on to the Provincial Championships.

This year, provincials will be held in Abbotsford from Feb. 25-26 where the top four boys and top three girls in each weight category will attend.

Shenaya Setah will represent the Williams Lake Wrestling Club at the Junior Nationals to be held this year in Edmonton from March 24-27. This will be Setah’s first experience with university wrestling. WLWC coach Shane Lentz said Setah has worked extremely hard this year and he knows she will make all of her coaches proud.
