A Williams Lake Minor Hockey Association volunteer is one of 100 finalists in the nationwide Kraft Hockey Goes On contest.

Karen Chabot found out Tuesday she’d been selected as one of the finalists with a chance to win either a $100,000 prize or one of 20 $20,000 prizes.

If she wins all of the money will go directly to the WLMHA.

“As exciting as this was for me to be nominated, this is now about the kids of WLMHA and all of us banding together to vote this coming weekend, March 23-24 to gather enough votes to grab one of these great prizes,” she said.

Winners will be chosen via a voting process, which begins Saturday at 6 a.m.

Simply log on to www.krafthockeygoeson.ca/en/nominate/profile/962/ on Saturday morning to vote for Chabot. Voting is scheduled to continue until Sunday.
