Used bicycles to be given to kids at bike rodeo

The Cariboo Chilcotin Conservation Society and Red Shreds have partnered to fix used bicycles and give them a new life.

The Cariboo Chilcotin Conservation Society and Red Shreds have partnered to fix used bicycles and give them a new life with a child in our community who does not own a bicycle.

This group of volunteers spent a Sunday fixing up bikes – Jeremy Stowards (Red Shreds), Wade and Devon Kelso, Michael and Liam Atwood, and Jonas and Eli Peterson.

The bicycles will be available at the bike rodeo on May 13 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.  Contact the Conservation Society at 250-398-7929 to reserve your bike.
