The Williams Lake Midget Timberwolves went undefeated during the weekend to win a tournament in Quesnel.

They edged Terrace, 2-1, in the final to win the championship.

Williams Lake started its tournament with a 4-3 victory over Prince George with goals from Brody Conroy, Cody Swan and Brendan Pigeon.

The T-wolves then tied Terrace, 1-1, before going on to defeat Smithers in a 3-2 battle to earn a berth in the semifinal against Dawson Creek.

Justin Swan, Cody and Lane Paddison scored in the game against Smithers.

In the semifinal, on the strength of two power play goals from Grady Thomas and a shorthanded marker from Jared Yuill, Williams Lake downed Dawson Creek, 4-3. Lane Wycotte also added a single in the contest.
