The Williams Lake Midget Timberwolves will join nine other teams this weekend in Trail when they compete for the BC Provincial Hockey Championship.

The T-wolves, after punching their ticket to the tournament in a three-game series victory over the Prince George Midget Cougars with a 4-0 shutout win in game three, will meet the host Trail team on March 15 at 8 p.m. at the Cominco Arena.

Williams Lake then takes on North Delta on March 16, before playing two games on March 17 — the first against Saanich at 9:30 a.m., followed by a tilt with Kelowna later at 5 p.m.

Following round robin results, playoff matchups are to be determined, and are slated for March 18.

The Timberwolves join New Westminster, North Delta, Smithers, Castlegar, Cranbrook, Kelowna, Saanich and Greater Trail at the tournament.
