Cliff Stinson has enjoyed the annual New Year's Day Turkey Shoot in Williams Lake for many years.

Ninety year old Cliff Stinson paid a visit to the New Year's Day Turkey Shoot event Sunday at the gun range on Bond Lake Road.

Stinson said he has been taking part in the friendly competition for the past "30 or 40 years" but went as a spectator this year.

Stinson is a Second World War veteran having served in Normandy and across Europe as a motorcycle messenger during the war.

Stinson has lived in Williams Lake for the past 40 years and still lives independently in his own home.
