Crosby, England's Merchant Taylors' School junior and senior boys rugby teams played a pair of friendlies with the Lake City Falcons Tuesday at the Ottoman Drive rugby fields.

The independent school, founded in the 1600s and located just north Liverpool, focuses on rugby and cricket athletically, while priding itself on academics.

Forty-four players and two coaches on the team are currently in the midst of a whirlwind rugby tour that will take them to Calgary, Williams Lake, Vancouver, Seattle and Toronto.

While in Williams Lake Merchant Taylors' visited Mount Polley Mine, West Fraser Sawmill and Bell-E-Acres.
