Skaters shine at Autumn Leaves

The Williams Lake Skating Club joined hundreds of skaters from around the province Oct. 21-23 for the annual Autumn Leaves competition.

The Williams Lake Skating Club joined hundreds of figure skaters from around the province in Kamloops Oct. 21-23 for the annual Autumn Leaves competition.

Star 2 skaters who all achieved silver ribbons were Julia Bowman, Bailey Jones and Faith Ritchot. In Star 4, Kolbi Seterengen and Reagan West each earned silver medals, while Ryanne Jones was fifth and Emma Penner was seventh. Alanna Walters, meanwhile, was fourth in Star 9, seventh in Star 10 and won a silver medal in Pre-Novice Solo Dance.
