This year’s KidSport Classic Run has a little something for everyone.
The annual event, which runs Sunday, June 22 at 8 a.m. in Boitanio Park, features multiple race categories, making it accessible to many people.
The KidSport Classic raises funds for the Williams Lake and Area chapter of KidSport. Proceeds will be used to help local families with financial challenges register their children in organized sports in the community.
The half marathon, relay and 10-kilometre walk or run includes the following age categories:
• 18 years and under run
• 19-39 years run
• 40-59 years run
• 60-plus years run
• elementary student relay
• high school student relay
• 39-39 years relay
• 40-59 years relay
• 60-plus relay
• corporate relay
• family relay
There is an early bird registration deadline of June 15, but registration will continue until the morning of the event. Registration includes a DriBlend shirt.
The cost of the KidSport Classic is $30 for adults and $15 for youths.
