Registration for the upcoming Williams Lake Sportsmen’s Association Interagency Fun Shoot is coming to a close.

The event, a fun, target shoot featuring RCMP members, conservation officers, the sheriff’s department and members of the International Practical Shooting Confederation, requires anyone interested to be signed up by May 16 so a course of fire can be sent out said Terry Chupa, president of the WLSA.

The fun shoot goes June 9 at the WLSA shooting range on Bond Lake Road, beginning at 8 a.m. Four-member teams plus one outcast team with one member from each agency will then square off in the competition. So far about 40 shooters have registered, Chupa said.

Registration is $40 for WLSA members and $45 for non-members, which includes a dinner at the end of the match.

Table prizes, including two CZ Shadow 9mm pisols, will be drawn for during the dinner.

For more information or to register contact Chupa at 250-305-9590.
