The Williams Lake Flying Club will again be hosting a free flight for kids between the ages of eight to 17 this Saturday, June 21.
Under the sponsorship of the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) the free flights have been offered up by the Williams Lake Flying Club for several years.
This year the flights will take place at Lawrence Aviation, located at the Springhouse Airpark, which is 25 kilometres from Williams Lake along Dog Creek Road.
If the weather on June 21 makes flying impossible then the event will go on June 22.
Flights will be between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. only.
All children who wish to fly are required to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must sign a waiver on behalf of their child.
