Peewee rep tourney starts Friday

The Williams Lake Timberwolves peewee rep team hosts its annual home tournament this weekend.

The Williams Lake Timberwolves peewee tier-two rep team hits the ice this weekend at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex for its annual home tournament.

Visiting teams include Quesnel, Salmon Arm, Fort St. John, Vernon and Prince George.

The Timberwolves, coached by Brad Thomas and Parnell Pinette, open their tournament this Friday, Nov. 18 against the Quesnel Thunder at 3:30 p.m. in rink two of the CMRC. Later, at 8 p.m., the T-wolves meet Salmon Arm.

On Saturday, Williams Lake clashes with Fort St. John at 11 a.m., followed by a tilt with Vernon at 5 p.m.

Sunday, round robin play wraps up with Williams Lake taking on Prince George at 6:30 a.m. The top two teams from round robin play will then advance to the final.

The tournament final goes at noon at the CMRC.
