The Mt. Timothy Ski Society is looking for input into the upcoming ski season during its annual general meeting this weekend.
The AGM takes place on Saturday, Nov. 28 beginning at 2 p.m. at the Williams Lake Golf and Tennis Club.
“There will be lots of business to take care of: updates on recent happenings, election of directors, review and voting on changes to a number of the society’s guidance documents and an introduction to our new general manager,” said Ryan Wonnacott, president of the board of directors.
Elections will be held at the AGM for four volunteer director positions. Caroline Sherrer of Valemount will be introduced as the hill’s new GM.
Wonnacott said no particular experience is required to be a director, only a passion for the ski hill, however, noted the board would benefit from directors with any finance, accounting, marketing or business development experience.
