Five Williams Lake hockey players suited up this weekend at the BC Hockey U16 Identification Camp in Salmon Arm.
Brette Kerley, Paige Outhouse, Sara Vermeulen, Pyper Alexander and Ali Waterhouse joined others from throughout the province after being selected during their respective zone camps held in January.
At the Identification Camp, players were placed onto teams for games, while participating in skills sessions, seminars and fitness testing.
The camp places a focus on skill development, player assessment and education and affords players the opportunity to learn how to play with other teammates in a short-term selection camp environment.
