Williams Lake’s Blair Fisher set a pair of national records late last month at the Northern Powerlifting Classic in Prince George.

Blair attempted a 407-pound benchpress and a 440-pound benchpress, successfully lifting both.

In deadlifting Fisher completed both a 600-pound and a 634-pound lift, before missing at 656 pounds.

Both his deadlift and benchpress were national records.
