It was an exciting evening Tuesday for the Williams Lake Climbing Association as the first-ever session of its new bouldering program kicked off at the newly-renovated climbing wall at Lake City secondary.

WLCA president Erika Driedger said around 25 people, some new to the sport and some with plenty of climbing experience, took part.

The program runs every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. until late June.
