It was a clean sweep in almost every class last Saturday, June 16 during Thunder Mountain Speedway’s Fan Appreciation Night.

On top of local drivers duking it out for trophies, season points and cash several youth had the chance to hop in the passenger seat of a car for a few laps, adding to the excitement.

Bone stock driver Sean Kelly set a frantic pace for the evening early, posting a new track record of 19.303 seconds during time trials for fast time of the night. Meanwhile, drivers Tim Westwick (Thunders), Tim Roberts (Heartland Toyota Pro Mini) and Donny Kunka (Street Stock) produced a sign of things to come, posting fast times in their respective classes.

Westwick, Roberts and Kunka each won all of the respective races in their classes.

In Bone Stocks Michael Scott took first in the trophy dash. Kelly went on to win the heat and main event.
