Blue United are the Williams Lake Men’s Indoor Soccer League champions.
The team knocked off runner-up United Floors in the championship last Tuesday, 4-2, to earn the title.
Mike Holm led the way for Blue United with three goals, while Kolby Taylor chipped in one.
For United Floors Mike Brogan and Curt Levens tallied.
The win comes after Blue United captured the regular season title, as well, with a 10-win, two-tie and three-loss record. United Floor finished the season with eight wins, three ties and three losses for second place.
In the battle for third place Storm upended Celtic Engineering 9-3 for the league’s bronze medal.
Kevin Yang notched a hat trick for Storm, Dragan Jukic scored twice and Brian Hansen, Chris Baye and Kostia Stolbov tallied singles. The other marker came off an own goal from Celtic Engineering.
For Celtic Engineering it was Graham Fulton and Travis Nystoruk finding the back of the net.
