The Williams Lake Timberwolves Atom Development hockey team recently held its year-end awards banquet.

Seventeen players, one girl and 16 boys, made up the club with Lindsey Wood, Graham Fulton and Mike Altwasser as assistant coaches, David Carnes as the head coach and Mike Rife as the manager.

The team played in six tournaments throughout the season where they medalled in half.

The following are the team’s award selection for the 2015/16 hockey season:

• Jackson Altwasser: most valuable player

• Aiden Fulton: most improved

• Lucas Pinette: most inspirational

• Cam Pinette: heart and soul

Esso Achievement Awards

• Ian Foster: most improved

• Boston Pierce: most dedicated

• Boston Levens: most sportsmanlike
