Despite the winter wonderland Saturday 90 people braved the elements to compete in the Cariboo Archers’ Outdoor 3D Shoot.
“It was pretty slippery on the slopes for the competitors, but a great time was had by all,” said Cariboo Archers treasurer Al Campsall.
Fred Streleoff, who picked up the win in the men’s recurve division, said he enjoyed the challenge of the inclement weather.
Twenty-five youth archers also competed at the shoot.
“It’s so gratifying to see so many young people enjoying such a great, lifelong sport,” Campsall said.
