The Cariboo Archers continue to snipe solid results this winter as shown recently at the Quesnel Indoor 3D Shoot.

The Cariboo Archers continue to snipe solid results this winter as another strong contingent of Williams Lake residents recently attended the Quesnel Indoor 3D Shoot.

The men’s masters open division saw multi-time Canadian national champion Al Campsall take the top spot.

Lee Jackman, meanwhile, in the men’s open division also shot to a first-place finish.

In the male pre-cub compound class it was Ty Thurow claiming the top honour, while Joelle Thurow, in the female peewee compound division, matched the same feat.

Ernie Schmid, competing in the men’s master traditional longbow division, picked up a first-place finish, while Fred Streleoff — who finished fifth in the instinctive recurve class at last year’s world archery championships — also fired to first.

A second-place result went to Dan Mobbs in the men’s traditional recurve class, with Cameron Brockel finishing third in the youth male compound division.
