The Williams Lake Sportsmen's Association will hold their annual New Year's Day Turkey Trap Shoot this Sunday at the club shooting range on Bond Lake Road.
"There will be lots of prizes including turkeys, hams and other meat prizes," says club member Judy Jenkins.
Registration is at 9 a.m. and shooting will start at 10 a.m.
The concession will be open.
Jenkins says the only thing that will prevent the event from going ahead will be extremely cold weather of -15 Celsius or colder.
