Clearing the walkways of snow

City workers were out Friday plowing and shovelling as Williams Lake received fresh snow overnight.

Environment Canada is forecasting periods of snow ending this morning then clearing, with an estimated two to four centimetres to add to the snow that began falling Thursday night.

Friday night a low of -3C is predicted with periods of snow beginning Saturday morning with up to 5 cm, with a high of -4C.

By Monday, however, the forecast is for highs of 11C.
