Re: Our November election for mayor and councillors in Williams Lake.
We have one mayor looking for re-election. Two ex mayors want to be mayor.
If my memory serves me correctly, had it not been for Elmer Thiessen and the advisory council, city residents would have lost control of our drinking water and grey water to EPCOR, under Mayor Scott Nelson, who was, I believe, determined to give up City control of our most precious resource.
If there are any city or area residents who remember the council meetings as I do I would appreciate hearing from you.
