The cry of ‘political games’ comical

Your report of City, ex-employee controversy of financial matters indicated that the mayor and CAO were both upset, angry, and offended that their actions were called to question.

If one is sure that they did no wrong or their conduct was impeccable, why not be satisfied with that belief, instead of trying to convince the world that their character is above reproach?

I understand that the mayor willingly entered politics, so it seems comical for the cry of “political games” when that is the arena she chose.

It sure isn’t hockey or soccer, but it may seem like it for those playing the “political game.”
