Respond to my letter with another letter, not a phone call

Editor:

“The time has come, the walrus said, to talk of many things: of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings, and why the sea is boiling hot and whether pigs have wings” — The Walrus and the Carpenter, Lewis Carroll.

As we do on the Viewpoints page. I would like to remind people that they should respond in the same matter, i.e., by writing to Viewpoints.

It is an invasion of privacy to look someone up in the phone book and call them in response to a letter you read in the paper.

Please use this venue to respond. If you are unable to respond because you have to sign your name (potent pause) my question is, “Who is bullying you?”
