My family and I have lived in Williams Lake for seven years. In those seven years we have enjoyed the use of the rec centre for all kinds of varied things. Swimming and skating lessons for my kids, watching all kinds of shows in the Gibraltar room, and birthday parties to name a few.
I believe the rec centre is the heart of a city. It should be big and beautiful and offer all kinds of classes and courses. I fully support any possible addition to the building or classes. It would benefit a lot of people and it would be something all of us could be proud of.
I am also a business owner in Williams Lake. As a business owner you always have to operate with competition; it’s never ending. And I would like to think that it keeps most businesses on their toes and keeps them dealing with integrity. That’s pretty much all you can do, offer the best product you can.
