Congratulations to Williams Lake and the Cariboo Regional District for honouring Paul St. Pierre.
It was a delight to hear the interview on CBC radio recently with St. Pierre recounting anecdotes about the event.
Some of our family members tried last year to find a source for the Cariboo Country series, both because we loved it so much and because it would be so appropriate for present-day Canadian audiences.
We travelled through Eastern Canada in 1968 and were very proud to learn how the series had entertained and educated folks about our “real west.”
Thanks for reviving interest in one of our great storytellers.
I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who can help make the series available.
