No evidence to support either side of tax debate

Re: the letter by David Williams where he claims that “there is absolutely no evidence that higher corporate taxes or higher taxes for the wealthiest one percent of population would drive away investment.”

Logically, if there is no evidence then there is no evidence to support either side of an argument.

Absence of evidence is never evidence of absence.

What Williams is proposing has a 50-50 chance of coming out to the good.

Russian roulette has better odds at a five to one chance of survival.

Williams appears to be trying the “baffle-them-with-bull” approach.
