Editor:

Volunteers, give me your ears.

Yes we volunteers in any type of industries work for all, doing it to help and have more joyful communities. Whether you are volunteering for a union or whatever cause, it is to help the less fortunate.

I for one believe in helping provide moral support for people who are suffering physically and have difficulties going to places like grocery stores or the hospital.

I volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society and we have placed our daffodil donation boxes throughout the city in full view for you to donate a few dollars.

Unfortunately, some of these boxes have been stolen.

I am asking the people to think about the fact they are taking money away from people who need a wheelchair or cancer treatments.

If you stole the money and really need help then please, just sit down in front of these businesses with a bucket and sign saying that you need help and I am sure you will make more money than you stole.

A big thank you to all.
