I was very disappointed in the Atlantic Power Open House held in the Gibraltar Room in Williams Lake B.C. June 28 2016, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
As a member of the public, Atlantic Power had no answers to our questions. Questions were posed but, “there are no answers.”
Atlantic Power said there are no health, or adverse affects to the air quality, as the studies are completed in one year of studying.
Williams Creek will not be affected.
Air quality has been recorded within a 10 km radius of the stack, and it is good (as of June 28, 2016). The shredded rail ties (300,000) on site, when burnt will not affect air quality.
It is a human right to breathe clean air, and drink clean water. I feel my human rights are being infringed upon.
Today I apologize to future generations for not leaving you a better world. I tried. We are thankful for the 32 jobs.
