Thank you and congratulations to Darla McDonald Robson for her excellent letter regarding palliative care versus assisted dying in the Williams Lake Tribune on May 11, 2016.

Those who talk about “dying with dignity” are trying to fool either themselves or the general public.

There is no dignity in dying.

It is ugly and tragic.

I know, I have seen it up close and personal.

Palliative sedation therapy is the best and only moral course of action for terminally ill patients.
