We agree.

Taseko will not undertake any action that would compromise the water quality of the Fraser River.

Our testing, in conjunction with government oversight, has shown that the groundwater, rain, snowmelt and other water we presently discharge to the Fraser River has no environmental effect and is not detrimental to any form of aquatic life.

The proposed increase in water discharge to the Fraser is a measure being taken to protect the environment and ensure that excessive water is not stored unnecessarily on the mine site.

We encourage the public, including First Nation leaders and community members, who may have an interest in this matter, to actively participate in the ongoing government review, along with Taseko, so that all ideas and suggestions can be fully considered and questions answered in detail.
