When First Nations people are drumming, the drum is the heartbeat of “all the people.”
The singing (is a prayer) for “all the people.”
Singing is praying.
When “all people” are praying we show respect by sitting or standing quietly, not talking, with due respect.
This practice is universal all over the world. Thank you,
