Bottom line.
As the minister of education you are legally responsible through the B.C. School Act for the requirement that the children of this province receive an education.
The fact that the B.C. Teachers’ Federation can be characterized as being principled or greedy, foolish or stubborn does not negate that fact.
Mr. Fassbender, you need to do your job and whether by negotiated settlement, legislated settlement, binding arbitration, or a labour relations board imposed cooling off period, get your students and, yes, your teachers, back into schools where we all belong.
