It was World Water Day on Tuesday, March 22, and while some people were thinking about ways to conserve water, others obviously were not.
While I jogged around Williams Lake I noticed four homeowners spraying off their driveways with water.
It escapes me why these people think it’s OK to waste large amounts of water when a broom would do the job just as well. Canada has an abundance of clean drinking water, but as we should all be aware, nothing on this planet is infinite.
So if you’re contemplating using water to clean your driveway, please don’t. Pick up a broom and get your heart rate up instead.
