Editor:
When I first came to Williams Lake there were wooden sidewalks.
Streets were built and my husband built many of the roads that were gradually paved.
Now when I go for my blood work and find my way into the back entrance of the hospital, I just about lose my car in large holes in the pavement.
Then I cross my fingers that I can find a place to park or I’ve got to go up the hill to find a spot there.
This letter is to encourage seniors to speak up, and for our offspring to look to the basics, because take it from us old-timers, you will be there before you realize it.
The Cariboo Lodge site was originally built for seniors and should remain so.
