1937-2021 ~ Winnifred Oliver was born July 1937 in Kamloops to Fred and Annie who were living in Canoe BC at the time, and was the youngest of four children. Later the family moved to Lone Butte, and when Winnie was working as a waitress in 100 Mile House she met her husband Stanley Fayowski.
Winnie was predeceased by her parents, brothers Don, Pat, and her sister Freda. Winnie and Stan had six children together Gord (Norine), Fred, Don (Debbie), Marianne (Bruce), Michael, and Victor (Thecla).
Winnie was predeceased by her husband Stan (1973), her third husband Greg Oliver (1994), sons Michael (2000) and Don (2012), and grandson Todd.
Winnie had 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Winnie accepted everyone for who they are, and was a strong, independent woman. She had a great sense of humour and could have a quick temper when riled. Winnie loved her family, friends, camping and all of her various pets.
Winnie lost her three year courageous battle with cancer July 28 2021.
There will be a celebration of her life on August 28, 2021, following COVID guidelines.
