Wilson Leslie DeWalt, 89, of Williams Lake, BC passed away June 18 2016. Born July 14, 1926 in Moose Jaw, SK the second son of Harry and Ethel DeWalt. Wilson was a Veteran of WWII and the Korean War, after serving his country he worked for Parks Canada for 21 years.


He is survived by his children Wendy (Peter) and Wilson Jr. (Bethany), his stepchildren Christine (Adam), Mavis (Marlin), Pete, Melody and Michael (Joanne), his 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, his sisters Isla, Ella, Frances, Sharon (Jim) and June (Adolf). He is predeceased by his parents Harry and Ethel, brothers Charles, Maitland, Clinton and Kenneth and sisters Dorothy, Rilda and Ethel.


There will be a memorial service Friday, June 24th at 1pm. The service will be held at the Likely Chapel, 7050 Keithley Creek, Likely, BC.
