William Schrader

William Frankin Schrader passed away May 2, 2004 at his home in Williams Lake.

William (Bill) was born at Big Bar, on November 29, 1918.

He lived in Big Bar and Williams Lake until he joined the armed forces in 1942.

He took basic training in Camrose, Alberta, completed training in Dundern, Saskatchewan, then went overseas in 1943 where he served in Italy and continental Europe.

He stayed in occupational forces until 1946, then returned home to Williams Lake

He married Lillian (June) Gaspard on June 29, 1952. They lived in Williams Lake and Prince George and upon retiring they moved to Soda Creek. He was happy there as he loved gardening.

The climate in Soda Creek is excellent for growing vegetables, fruit trees. They lived a very peaceful few years there.

Their last move was back to Williams Lake.

William (Billy) passed away suddenly in his home. He is predeceased by his wife Lillian (June), January 22, 2001.

He leaves to mourn his son Wayne; brother John Murdock of Armstrong, B.C., sister-in-law Lorraine (Dixie) Murdock; brother Edward Murdock of Ashcroft; and several nieces and nephews.
