September 20, 1942 - February 2, 2021
Born September 20, 1942 in Victoria, BC. Passed away February 2, 2021 from complications of early onset dementia at Williams Lake Seniors Village.
Bill lived a full and exciting life making friends wherever he went. He was loved by so many. One of his earliest passions was behind the wheel of a race car at Western Speedway in Victoria. His welding career started as a boilermaker in the Dockyard, and encompassed logging, structural steel work, and paving.
Bill enjoyed travelling, eventually settling in Grand Cayman where he worked hard for many years and enjoyed scuba diving, fishing and boating, before retiring back in Williams Lake.
Beloved husband of Heather Fay. Loving father of Marcy Rubba and husband Mark. Predeceased by son Andrew. Dear grandfather to Sydney and Mackenzie. Cherished brother to Frankie, Pat and Marg. Adored Uncle to Charlene, Dennis, Dan, Mike, Greg, Jeff and Julianne. Bill will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
Thanks to all the loving and dedicated staff at Williams Lake Seniors Village.
