In Loving Memory ~
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard but always near.
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

Wilbur and Evelyn (nee Stewart) were both born in rural Saskatchewan and both lived the farming life of the 1930s and 1940s. They met in Prince George in the early 1950s and were married there in August 1952.
Doris was born in 1954, Hilda in 1956, Doug in 1958. Dad worked in a lot of bush mills located around the Cariboo, Alexandria, Marguerite, McLeese Lake, Black Creek, Horsefly, Dugan Lake and lastly Meldrum Creek for 2 years.
Mom was always a stay at home mom and had her hands full keeping an eye on three little ones and making do with no electricity or running water. We moved to our permanent home in Williams Lake in late 1962 and Dad was then a faller for many different companies until his retirement. Mom was an avid knitter and could create anything for anyone.
Dad loved his hunting and fishing, especially Squawk Lake. We were truly blessed with such loving and caring parents and the world was so much better with them both in it. We love and miss you both so much.
Both were predeceased by their parents and siblings.
Survived by Doris Card, Hilda (Russell) Mercer, Doug (Nina) Tallen.
Grand children Kelly, Lee, Linda, David, John, Hope and several Great Grand children, Sister in-laws Betty Stewart and Kathy Tallen along with numerous nieces and nephews.
