Sproston - Wendy Lynn
It is with great sadness that
we announce the peaceful
passing of Wendy Sproston
on December 4, 2009, while
in the loving, compassionate
care of Buchanan Lodge in
New Westminster. Born in
Vancouver, Wendy grew up
in Princeton, Merritt and Williams
Lake where she graduated
from high school and
eventually began a 32 year
career as an office manager
with the RCMP. She is predeceased
by her parents Jim
and Verna Sproston and her
beloved dogs, Amber and
Annie. Wendy is survived by
her brother, Peter (Andrea)
of Palm Springs and her former
husband but always
friend, Gary Rawluk along
with many other friends. She
was a fun-loving, happy person,
who will be missed by
everyone who knew her. A
memorial service was held
for Wendy at Buchanan
Lodge on December 11,
2009 and her cremated remains
will be placed at
Mountain View Cemetery
with her parents. Those who
wish to honour her memory
are encouraged to donate to
the Salvation Army or the
charity of their choice.
