April 12, 1947 - April 12, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Wayne Schick passed away peacefully on April 12th at the age of 78. While we will miss him greatly, he is in the arms of his loving wife once again.

Wayne worked as an automotive mechanic for many years, and later worked as a delivery driver for Dairyland. In his later years he worked alongside his wife Reva with her business as a doll sculptor. He made an impression on everyone he met with his love for his family and his unwavering faith.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents Henry and Zona; brothers Rob and Merv (Gail/Mary Ann); and his wife of 52 years, Reva. He has left behind many who care about him- two brothers Lyle (Marg) and Barry (Deb): one sister-in-law Jill: his two sons Dale (Lore) and Chip (Andrea); his three grandsons Brandon (Charlotte), Tyler, and Noah (Amy); his great grandsons Oliver and Felix; and his great granddaughter Mya.

He spent his last 6 years under the incredible care of Dr. Magnuson and the wonderful staff at Cariboo Place in Williams Lake.

There will be a memorial service for Wayne at 1:00 PM on May 24th at St. John Lutheran Church in Williams Lake.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
