It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Walter with his loving wife Darline by his side. He leaves for a better logging show. Walter was born in Chaswood, Nova Scotia.
One of 15 children and 140 cousins, he learned to survive, came to BC. In the 60's, working in the Cariboo for over 50 years, in sawmills and logging.
With his first wife Marlene (passed in 2005) he has a son Michael. Walter loved a good joke, great camp fires, good friends and a cold beer. You could always see a twinkle in his eyes. You could count on Walter for a good practical joke anytime. Always willing to help others. Walter is one of the good ones. He passed on St. Paddy's Day, March 17th, 2021.
Survived by many of his siblings, son Michael and wife Darline.
Guess we could say, the luck of the Irish on St. Paddy's Day wanted him in a better place for the green beer.
Always, forever in our Hearts
