It is with great sadness that the family of Tina Cornelia Kohnke (nee de Geus) announce her passing after a courageous battle with cancer, on September 10, 2018 at the age of 75.
Tina will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband Ralph of over 56 years, and her children Kathleen (Adrian), Sandra (Kevin), and Derek (Roxanne), along with her five remaining grandchildren Bradley, Justin (Trista), Brenden (Jessica), Raedeen, Chad (Savanna), and her four great-grandchildren, by her sister Simone (Bob) Douglas, her brother Rick de Geus, brother-in-law Edward (Shirley) along with many nieces & nephews and numerous great nieces & nephews. Tina was predeceased by her parents Dick & Ali de Geus, in-laws Walter & Florence Kohnke; her grandson Brody Kohnke, nephew Alan & brother in-law Alfred.
Tina was born in Holland moving to Williams Lake with her parents at the age of 7, she lived the remaining years of her life in Williams Lake. Tina lived life with enthusiasm, love, compassion, she always enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.
Tina has requested a private family ceremony. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hospital Auxiliary where Tina was a volunteer for over 13 years.
We would like to the thank the Dr.'s and nurses at the hospital and all the staff at Deni House for their respect, patience and care of our wife/sister/ mother during her illnesses and passing.
