Thomas William 'Tom' Ford

January 10, 1941 - January 15, 2024

It is with very deep sadness we announce the passing of Thomas William 'Tom' Ford.

Tom was born to Gifford and Verna Ford in Smeaton, Saskatchewan June 10, 1941.

Those left to cherish his memory, his wife and best friend Doreen. Sons, Glenn (Doris), Greg (Nancy). Daughter Stacey. Sister: Helen Verbonac, Grandchildren, Emerson, Meghan (Grayson) Eglin. Braelyn & Kowen Funk. Kayden and Shavana. Great-grandchildren, Barrett, Ethan, Logan and Matanna. Brother-in-Law Norm (Nicole) Phillips. Sister-in-law Christina Ford. And many nieces and nephews.

Pre-deceased by his parents: Gifford and Verna Ford. Brothers: Giffie, Ken (Shirley) & Gordon.

Tom was a contract logger for many years and had the enjoyment of his boys Glenn and Greg working along with him. Besides "work" throughout his life, Tom enjoyed golfing and curling, but his great passion was fishing!

He was half-owner of a large boat, docked at the Bella Coola Harbour. He never had to wonder about who was going with him, there was always a group at the ready, his brother Gordon was always front and centre!

Tom especially enjoyed memory-making with his grandchildren and being a part of their excitement. Taking them out on the boat, making everything about them with no time to be bored!

Tom had many friends who will remember him for his kindness, forever pleasant attitude, pleasure to be around and never without his pipe & laughter.

Celebration of Life will be held at the Gibraltar Room on April 6, 2024, at 11:00 am.
