It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother.
Predeceased, after 60 years of marriage to Gordon. Betty leaves behind her loving children- Penny (Ron), predeceased son Michael (Nancy), and Bruce (Regina). Beloved grandchildren- Tyler (Danielle), Evan (Lauren), Mandy (Eirik),
Chelsea, Ryan and Andrea. Beloved great grandchildren- Lily, Emma, Neah, Keegan, Konnor, Kaylee, Kolbee, Kienna, Koen, Kaitlin and Jacob.
Betty will be forever remembered by her dear family and friends.
Betty adored being a Mother and gave unconditional love and support to her children throughout their lives. She touched many hearts, with her clever sense of humour, inquisitive mind and friendly personality.
Her joy of travelling, family celebrations, card, word games and socials with her friends, continued throughout her life.
She lived her life without reserve, appreciated all the moments she shared with her loved ones, which was evident from the framed photos that lined all her home's walls.
Betty will live on through her family and friends, who are forever grateful for the times and memories they shared together.
Gratitude and special thanks go out to the staff at Cowichan hospital, Island Health and Sherwood House, for the wonderful care they provided.
At our Mothers request a celebration of life will be held at Miocene Hall this summer for family and friends.
