It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Steve Bengyik in the early morning hours of August 31st 2019 at the age of 66. Steve was born on May 14th 1953 in Koszeg, Hungary and relocated to British Columbia in 1958. Steve was a loving husband, dedicated father, mentor and teacher. He took his passion for martial arts seriously, receiving a fourth degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and opening his own training program.
Steve is survived and mourned by his wife of fourty one years Maria, his children Shawna and Matthew, Mother and Father Maria and Lazlo Szeles. Brother and sister Les and Mary Bengyik , as well as many other family members, friends and past students.
As per Steve's wishes there will be a private celebration of life held for Steve, greatly missed and forever held in our hearts.
